Perpetual Peace was established, according to Article (19) in the bylaws of the Perpetual Peace Foundation and our belief in moving forward using an institutional governance system to achieve our vision, the Board of Directors consisted of (5) people to formulate and implement goals and strategies.

Perpetual Peace was established during the first quarter of the year on 1/7/2020 in accordance with the laws and regulations in the state of Libyan. The Foundation was registered in the period referred to after approximately ten months of work on setting up the work team and developing an initial vision and strategy of the methodology of the institution and its direction within an integrated institutional and governance framework.

The Perpetual Peace Foundation possesses legal personality according to the declaration granted to it by the Civil Society Commission in Libya under registration number (1495-01-2020017), which authorizes it to carry out its work under the laws, legislation, and procedures in Libya.
