The Perpetual Peace Foundation (PPF) declares the launching of the second phase of "The Public Policies Project aims to reinforce the role of youth in sustainable development in the community, in ongoing November, in the city of Benghazi.
The program highlights (3) various activities that strive to reinforce youth capabilities, expand their knowledge, and provide them with the essential instruments for youth participation at the local level.
The first activity is a "focus group discussion" : which will hold various experts, academics, and decision-makers at the local level, in addition to the municipal council and local councils, local government offices, and activities youth in Benghazi. These needs will contribute in many ways to understanding and enhancing youth participation at the local level.
The second activity is "Capacity Building": Perpetual Peace intends to train 40 young people "male and female" in the city throughout two groups, where the participants will be enabled to understand public policies and instruments for making and making decisions, and become acquainted them with the laws of local government and local administration, as well as understanding the foundations of local development and youth work.
The third activity is a "round-table discussion sponsored by the Municipality of Benghazi on the ": alongside the participation of officials and directors of departments within the municipal council, in addition to, an internal tour to the office of the municipal council, departments, departments, and offices of the municipal council, work mechanisms, and services.
The program is one of the Perpetual Peace Foundation’s programs designed in accordance with strategic plan goals and its clear vision, which strives effectively to enhance the capabilities of young people to build peace, youth participation, and democratic transformation, as well as to lead local development.
