Generation Dialogue

Generation Dialogue

The perpetual Peace Foundation is continuously committed to its journey of social change! We recently participated in a regional workshop titled "intergenerational Dialogue" in accordance with Decision Agenda 2250.

From June 7th to 9th, 2023, our representative had the privilege of attending this insightful workshop organized by the Swedish dialogue institute in Amman, the capital of Jordan. The workshop aimed to foster a meaningful exchange of ideas and perspectives between generations in the Middle East and North Africa region.

One of the key takeaways from the workshop was the vital importance of valuing and consulting the youth in decision-making processes that directly impact their lives and countries. Young individuals from Iraq, Jordan, Yemen, Libya, Algeria, Syria, and Egypt joined us at this workshop, representing both the regional coalition and youth-led civil society organizations.

We wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to affirm our commitment to involving youth voices in regional and national decision-making. By actively engaging young people, we empower them to shape their own futures and contribute to building a better society.

We firmly believe in the perpetual Peace Foundation, that by promoting generational dialogue and fostering youth participation, we pave the way for a more inclusive, equitable, and peaceful world.
Perpetual Peace Foundation, take immense pride in our leadership role in the constructive dialogue session on Decision Agenda 2250, peacebuilding, and stability. This session was organized in collaboration with the Jordanian National Youth Coalition and the Regional Coalition for North Africa and the Middle East.

As the Perpetual Peace Foundation, we provided our expertise and experience in supporting youth engagement in peacebuilding efforts and enhancing stability. We actively participated in discussions addressing the challenges faced by young people in the region, as well as exploring possible solutions to support them in building peace and stability.

We firmly believe that supporting and empowering youth in shaping the future of our region is paramount to achieving comprehensive peace and stability. We remain committed to continuing our work in collaboration with other coalition members to uphold this vital priority.

We seeking to extend our gratitude to the Jordanian National Youth Coalition and the Regional Coalition for North Africa and the Middle East for organizing this fruitful discussion session. We look forward to further alliances and collaborations in the future. Rest assured, the Perpetual Peace Foundation is always ready to exchange experiences and knowledge with all partners who share our commitment to supporting peacebuilding and stability efforts in the region.
